As a GateSafe approved company we will always ensure that the specification we provide for our gates is compliant and as safe as possible. When gates open and close automatically they are effectively a machine and so we have a duty of care to make sure any ‘trapping points’ ‘crush zones’ or ‘dragging points’ are completely protected with safety equipment such as resistive photocells, safety edges & finger guards. The design of the gate is also extremely important and we will always ‘over engineer’ the specification of our gates, hinge posts, running gear to make sure it is more than capable of performing at its best for our clients.
