Dan from GT Gates and his team have done an excellent job replacing our rotten wooden gates. I had around 20 quotes for this work, and these other quotes were much more than from GT Gates - I have found this recurring excessive pricing a trend while improving the house over the last 5 years. But luckily if you keep looking you'll find a reasonable priced, quality product and service like I have. Highly recommend GT Gates Ltd.

Great service from start to finish. Professional, thorough and precise. Made sure everything was correct and re checked before confirming order. Excellent communication every step of the way. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Cannot recommend enough. Called them back to modify a couple of issues, no fuss, no excuses. The fitters were very tidy and respectful of our property. Simply brilliant. Thank you Dan!

Sean and his team did a very thorough job servicing my electric gates today and taking the time to go through all the various operational capabilities and safety features (I only moved in four months ago so was unaware of many of these). Also, Sean set the intercom up for use with the app which is now on my iPhone, this is great because obviously this will be very useful when I am out. So thank you very much😊

Following on from my previous review below, we were so impressed with the product and service provided by GT Gates that we have since asked them to quote to replace our side gate. Work was completed this week (September 2025) and once again, we were impressed by this company and reiterate our recommendation. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I would 100% recommend GT Gates after they manufactured and fitted a magnificent bespoke handrail to the front of our property. We found all of their staff to be friendly and courteous and their aftersales service is the best.

GT Gates were very professional and attentive from start (site visit, quotation and specification) through to final installation (on site works). It was a real positive to have everything dealt with in-house and as a one-stop shop - from the gate manufacturing, to the electrical works and necessary, important groundwork’s. The installation / site team were excellent, very hard working and knowledgeable in what they were doing. Couldn’t have asked for more. We would highly recommend them.

Excellent service. I dealt with the GT gates team on behalf of my parents whose existing wooden gate was beyond repair. They were able to come out quickly to quote while I was down visiting, and understood our requirements. I was contacted promptly in response to my email queries and kept well informed of the process and timescales for installation. Mum and Dad are very pleased with the finished product and the fact that it is so secure and won’t require any future maintenance. Would highly recommend this company.

Dan and his team could not have been more helpful. They listened to what we wanted and came up with a design that allowed us the extra room we needed to get through our gate. They kept us informed about progress of the build and on the day of the installation, not only did they do a brilliant job, but they left the place immaculately tidy as if they had never been. As for the quality of the work, it's top draw. Would highly recommend them.
